The Red-Tape Suicide

This was my first book written in the last century. I’ve decided it can be improved with a complete rewrite while keeping the satire and intent intact. The effort also gives me the opportunity to write a book in the first person where all action takes place through the eyes of the writer.

The story takes place within the massive stone buildings lining the Mall in Washington, D.C.

We discover how the bureaucracy is exacerbated by the Bureau of Bureaucracy run by the insentient Dr. Willard A. Dillard. Dillard has a great thing going until he makes the mistake of hiring Robert “Robb” Moore. Moore quickly becomes Dillard’s nemesis and the fun begins.

(I have one or two of the original books left. If you’re interested in buying, then please contact me for details.)

My books

My books can be purchased in either Kindle ereader style, or the traditional paperback . . . or both, if you prefer.

The author spent his working life swimming in shark-infested bureaucratic waters. He became a black and blue master at survival without assimilation. He has captured his experiences in The Parables, tales of a medieval castle engaged in the manufacture and sale of manure. Therein lies a tail wagging the teeth of the enterprise. The author peers behind the castle’s walls into the belly of its bureaucracy’s belly. The Parables of the Tail with No Teeth, is made up of a series of illustrative stories about management, or lack thereof, in the Medieval Land of Red Tape. The story is told with humor and a light touch.
